Big news! We’ve made some exciting additions to our expanding lineup of fresh vegetables and blends, giving you even more choices for crafting tasty and nutritious creations at home. And just like our other products, these new additions to the Taylor Farms roster are washed, prepped, and ready to enjoy or cook right out of the bag.

So, without further ado, allow us to offer a quick meet & greet with our newest veggie products below. (And be sure to click on the products for more info, including nutrition facts.)

Halved Brussels Sprouts

A halved Brussels sprout may be the only thing better than a full Brussels sprout. Sliced down the center with the utmost precision, these round, leafy vegetables are primed and ready to hit the pan (cut-side down, of course) for that perfect golden-brown caramelized sear.  These little treasures can handle bold flavors like balsamic vinaigrette, lemon juice, red pepper, garlic, parmesan cheese, bacon, or whatever else you’d like to throw in the mix.

And would you believe that you can also use Brussels sprouts to create a deliciously cheesy comfort food dish in the oven? Check out this Cheesy Brussels Sprouts Bread Pudding recipe to see it for yourself.

Broccoli Slaw

This versatile blend of shredded red cabbage, carrot, and broccoli stalks provides a fresh crunch that can star in a number of different dishes. Use it to add some texture to your taco toppings, as a base for a zesty salad topped with a tangy vinaigrette, or as a new spin on traditional coleslaw. Regardless of how you dress it up, this nutritious mix of veggies will retain its tasty and refreshing crunch until you’re ready to serve!

Snow Peas

Here’s a helpful PSA: snow peas aren’t just for stir-fries! The mild and subtly-sweet taste of these cute (and thin) little peapods makes them ideal for pairing with a long list of savory, spicy, and acidic flavors. Try sautéeing them with minced garlic and red pepper flakes for a spicy side dish, or cook them in a hot pan with butter, toasted almonds, and lemon zest for 1-2 minutes for something a little different. And don’t forget: snow peas are a great addition to any salad and perfect for snacking right out of the bag with your favorite dip or hummus.

Broccoli & Cauliflower

Broccoli and cauliflower are practically cousins, so it only makes sense to create a perfect mix of the two. Hearty, crunchy, and totally cruciferous, this blend has endless uses. Steam them for a quick and healthy side dish, toss them into a wok as a stir fry, add to your favorite salad mix, roast them in the oven with olive oil, garlic, lemon, and red pepper, or douse them in a creamy, savory cheese sauce after cooking them. However you serve them, enjoy!

Broccoli & Carrots

This advantageous mix of broccoli florets and baby carrots is up for pretty much anything you can dream up. Use them to add depth and texture to your salads and soups, blend them with pineapple, spinach, avocado, and lemon to create a deliciously nutritious green smoothie, or roast them with a drizzle of olive oil, garlic, and parmesan cheese for a restaurant-worthy side dish. Having these prepped and washed makes all of these options that much easier.

Snap Peas

Not to be confused with their flat-shaped cousin, the snow pea (which has nothing to do with snow), snap peas definitely live up to their name. These thick peapods provide a satisfying snap when you break them, and they’re even more enjoyable to eat. Enjoy them fresh out of the bag with a dip of your choice, or add them to your salad for a quick boost of flavor and texture. You can also throw them in your stir-fry or even roast them with olive oil and a sprinkle of salt for a quick side dish that can pair with almost anything.

Stir Fry

Make your own one-pan stir fry using fresh vegetables instead of frozen. Our stir fry veggie blend contains baby carrots, snap peas, and broccoli florets and clocks in at 30 calories per serving. Toss in beef strips, chicken, or tofu for a healthy, hot meal in mere minutes. Serve over hot rice or all on its own in a bowl, and enjoy!

All of these are joining the veggie products you already know and love, like…

Cauliflower Rice

Previously called cauliflower pearls, we find cauliflower rice to be the more common term. Although extremely low in carbs (only two net carbs per serving!), you don’t have to be on a low-carb diet to enjoy the wonders of one of the most versatile forms of veggies on the planet. Plus, if you’ve ever made your own cauliflower rice before, you know how incredibly not fun the process can be. Fortunately, we did all the work for you, so now it’s just up to you to decide how to enjoy it!

Heat in a pan with a bit of olive oil, salt, and pepper and use as a delicious substitute for grain rice; sauté with fresh herbs and spices, or even mash them up with butter, salt, and cheese—our cauliflower rice is your blank culinary canvas.

Green Beans

A perennial veggie favorite, our fresh green beans are eager to please. Need a quick chilled salad? Blanche and chill the green beans, toss them with minced garlic, onion, and olive oil, and revel in the delicious simplicity. Looking for the perfect side dish? Sauté them with olive oil, red pepper, garlic, and a healthy dose of lemon pepper and parmesan. We could attempt to list off all the great (and easy) ways you can use these, but we’re afraid that list would never end, so grab a bag (or three) and get to cooking.

Broccoli Florets

Did you know that a serving of broccoli gives you 90% of your daily dose of Vitamin C? Broccoli florets are cleaned, prepped, and ready to go right out of the package. Whether you’re making a pot of creamy broccoli cheddar soup or you’re looking for a snack that helps you hit your vegetable goal for the day, grab a bag of fresh broccoli florets.

Vegetable Medley

This is one of those items you purchase at the store without even knowing how you’re going to use it. Because this vegetable medley can be cooked or eaten in so many different ways, you basically can’t go wrong. The two easiest ways are probably the most quick and delicious: serve straight out of the bag with some creamy dip, or toss with olive oil and roast at 425 until the carrots have softened and the broccoli is getting crispy. Make this blend a “favorite” in your online cart.

Brussels Sprouts

Whole Brussels sprouts are a whole lot of goodness. Whether you like your Brussels sprouts quartered, halved, whole, or if you like to pick apart each leaf so they sauté up super crispy, we can’t blame you. This cruciferous veggie is chock full of vitamins and can be roasted, sautéed, chopped up for salads, or tossed into a veggie-rich stir fry.
