Crispy Pepperoni Caesar Cheese Wrap

Did you know you can make a wrap with mozzarella cheese? That’s right, the default pizza topping has now become the wrap itself. With just a few ingredients — mozzarella cheese, turkey pepperoni, and the Taylor Farms Protein Caesar Salad Kit — you can create a quick and easy low-carb wrap that’s loaded with protein and ready in less time than it takes to watch an episode of your favorite sitcom (even one with no commercials!). You’ll also teach yourself how to make mozzarella tortillas in the process, which can certainly come in handy for other wraps and dishes as well.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.  Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a non-stick mat (important: cheese will stick to metal or glass).
  2. Sprinkle mozzarella into a thin, even rectangle or circle on the parchment. Layer turkey pepperonis evenly over the cheese.
  3. Bake for 10–15 minutes, until cheese is fully melted, bubbling, and lightly golden at the edges. Remove from oven and let cool 2–3 minutes, just until pliable but not stiff.
  4. Toss greens from the Protein Caesar Kit with the included dressing and toppings. Spoon the dressed Caesar mixture onto the center of the warm cheese wrap.
  5. Gently fold or fold like a wrap. Eat immediately while warm and crisp!

Want a fuller spread?

This wrap already has plenty going on, but here are some ideas for how to round out this cheesy meal.

For a fresh touch, you can throw together a quick marinated tomato and cucumber salad with olive oil, red wine vinegar, and a pinch of oregano. The light acidity cuts through the richness of the wrap and makes your overall meal more balanced. A small bowl of mixed olives or pepperoncini also works well, especially if you want to lean into those Italian flavors a bit (it also happens to be the easiest side dish route).

Roasted broccoli or zucchini tossed with garlic and parmesan pairs nicely with the wrap and keeps things veggie-forward. A timeless cup of tomato soup is another easy option, especially if you’re serving the wrap for lunch.

On the lighter side, a fruit salad with melon and berries adds some welcome contrast without competing for attention. Or you can opt for something like kettle chips or baked potato wedges for a little extra crunch, which is never, ever a bad thing. Options abound!
