CheezIt Caesar Salad Kit

So we were munching on one of our favorite snack foods and we thought, “Yum, but we should probably be eating vegetables too.” So why not both? This might be one of the best culinary combinations we’d never thought of. The Cheez-Its serve as cheddar-y, salty, crunchy croutons, the perfect complement to our creamy Caesar dressing and fresh chopped romaine.

Directions

  1. Prepare the Caesar Chopped Salad Kit according to package directions.
  2. Fold ¾ cup Cheez-It crackers directly into the salad for crunch in every bite.
  3. Transfer to a serving bowl.
  4. Top with remaining Cheez-It crackers for extra texture.

We’re greens people through and through, but we also love our dairy, especially in the form of cheese. Cheese just makes everything better, doesn’t it? Now let’s circle back to Cheez-Its. We’re starting to wonder if there’s a wrong place to put them. Do they also have a home on an Asiago Kale Chopped Kit? (Double cheese, please!) What about Avocado Ranch? And crushed into a breadcrumb-like topping onto a Cauliflower Mac ‘n Cheese Roast Kit? Like the moon up in space, it’s a whole new world.
