Peachy Keen Greens — Salad Ideas Featuring Peaches
Everybody loves peaches, right? They’re soft and sweet seasonal treats (peak peach season is typically from June to August). That’s why nothing says summer like a juicy, ripe peach. We love them in all sorts of summer foods, from yogurt, to peach ice cream, to peace cobbler, to—yes!—peach salads.
You know what else says summer? Grilling. Combine the two—grills and peaches—and you know it’s summertime. A grilled peach is a delicious, summery delicacy, perfect on its own or when placed on top of fresh summery greens in a grilled peach salad.
Our kitchen has thought of a few delicious salad recipes featuring grilled peaches. There’s this burrata recipe, or you can skip the burrata and just serve a Maple Bourbon Grilled Peach Salad that’s equally as tantalizing. Or, try making a Grilled Peach Citrus Crunch Salad featuring prosciutto and mozzarella. And when you’ve found the perfect peach you want to include in a delicious salad as is, try adding its soft sweetness with shaved Brussels Sprouts under dijon vinaigrette, crumbly feta, and nutty sunflower seeds.
With these salads, summer barbecues just got peachier.
