Buffalo Sauce Is Not Just For Wings Anymore

If your tastebuds have that wild, untamed spirit, then you probably already love Buffalo sauce. This delectable yet powerful sauce has risen to fame as the ultimate addition to chicken wings. In fact, the National Chicken Council says it all started in the 1980s when restaurants and bars realized that spicy chicken wings often “motivate” people to order more drinks.

But of course, it’s not just chicken wings that benefit from this flaming-delicious sauce. It’s a versatile tool that can light a fire under many different dishes:

  • Buffalo Cauliflower Kale Wraps: This recipe takes cauliflower and puts some pep in its step with buffalo sauce. It can be a great replacement for less healthy wings, as it offers a delicious twist on cauliflower with shredded carrots and romaine lettuce.

  • Buffalo Chicken Dill Pickle Salad: This is an easy way to add some supercharged protein to the fan favorite Dill Pickle Chopped Salad. With fresh cauliflower, red cabbage, green cabbage, radish, green leaf lettuce, and dill pickle ranch dressing, it makes for quite a festive atmosphere on your tastebuds.

  • Buffalo Cauliflower Wings: Craving wings but trying to keep things healthy? This recipe for Buffalo Cauliflower Wings may just fool your tastebuds, since the cauliflower gets nice and crispy after being roasted along with salt, pepper, and buffalo sauce.

  • Dill Pickle Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches: If you’re exploring a world outside of wings, but you’re tired of salad, try the Dill Pickle Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches.  It features beautifully prepared chicken thighs marinated in buttermilk and buffalo sauce. Yum!
