December Giving

This month, Taylor Farms employees came together to donate $6,000 worth of toys for kids of all ages in support of Operation Give Back. The Taylor Farms team has been pleased to participate in this toy drive for several years running, and we love seeing our employees not only donate for those in need, but come together at this time of year.

Operation Give Back is a Salinas, Calif. organization that collects and distributes children’s toys during the holiday season. Their vision is “to inspire people to be leaders in giving back.  Planting a seed of hope, self-worth, and inspiration to a child living in adversity.  Through the gift of giving we see positive experiences creating great future leaders in our community.”

The mission of Operation Give Back is to encourage people to “take time out to intentionally select a toy that will put a smile on a child’s face and make a difference in his or her life.”

We agree with them when they say that giving back creates a positive energy for those who give as well as for those who receive.
