Annual Scholarship Program Awards More Than $650k In Scholarships
Taylor Farms is proud to announce that our Annual Scholarship Program has awarded over $650,000 this year in educational scholarships for our community! This long-standing initiative reflects our core belief in the power of education and our dedication to creating meaningful opportunities within our community.
A total of 38 new scholarships have been awarded in 2025 among our three scholarship types:
- The Extraordinary Scholarship supports students pursuing degrees at four-year universities. This year, 26 exceptional students were honored in this category.
- The Innovative Scholarship is designed to encourage academic and career development at junior colleges and trade schools. Nine such scholarships were awarded this year.
- The Employee Scholarship supports Taylor Farms team members who are advancing their own education and development goals. Three such scholarships were awarded this year
Since the program began in 2008, Taylor Farms has provided $4.7 million in scholarship support to 319 students—all children of full-time team members.

Taylor Farms partners with the Community Foundation for Monterey County to administer the application and award process. Students receive an initial financial award and can qualify for renewals each year throughout their undergraduate or graduate education. For 2025, along with our new awardees, 81 students received renewal scholarships, continuing support that began between 2022 and 2024.

The dedication and pursuit of higher education is apparent in the essays and personal statements we reviewed. Our committee spent hours combing through every application and feel that this year’s recipients are incredibly exceptional with bright futures ahead of them.
