Celebrating 12 Years of Spreading Holiday Joy with Operation Give Back!

For more than a decade, the Taylor Farms team has embraced the spirit of the holiday season by supporting Operation Give Back, a local Salinas, California organization dedicated to bringing joy and hope to children and families facing adversity. This year marked the 12th Annual Operation Give Back Toy Drive, and Taylor Farms employees stepped up again to contribute to this fantastic cause.

Operation Give Back’s mission is simple but powerful: to inspire people to be leaders in giving back, encouraging them to thoughtfully select a toy that will brighten a child’s holiday. The idea is that every gift planted in the hands of a child grows into a seed of hope, self-worth, and inspiration. Over time, these gestures cultivate the future leaders who will continue strengthening and uplifting our community. It’s a philosophy that resonates strongly with us at Taylor Farms, as we’ve worked to build a company culture rooted in community involvement and helping others.

Building on Past Success

This longstanding partnership has seen growth and impact each year. Last Christmas, Taylor Farms employees contributed $6,000 worth of toys, ensuring that children of all ages in Salinas received gifts that brought smiles, laughter, and a sense of belonging. This year, the momentum continued. As part of the 12th Annual Operation Give Back Toy Drive, the team collected more than 150 toys — an amazing variety of dolls, games, sports equipment, educational items, and more. From November’s start and right up to the collection deadline, employees at all levels contributed in their own ways: picking out that perfect toy, pooling their resources, and spreading the word to friends and family.

“Seeing so many coworkers donating financially and volunteering their personal time is amazing. One more thing to be thankful for: The Christmas spirit is alive and thriving!”

— Jamie Stracuzzi, Communications Manager at Taylor Farms.

It’s not just about the toys themselves — it’s about what they represent. Each donated item becomes a moment of joy, a reminder that these children are valued and cared for, especially during a season that should be marked by warmth and togetherness.

Happy Holidays from Taylor Farms!

This holiday season, we encourage everyone to get involved in whatever way they can. Whether you’re hosting a toy drive in your workplace, gathering a few gifts among friends, or dropping off a toy at a participating location, your support helps weave a fabric of generosity that touches entire families. The ripple effect of these small acts of kindness extends well beyond the holiday season, creating positive experiences that can shape a child’s outlook for years to come.
