Green bean side dishes can go with practically anything, and this one is no exception. As for main courses to serve with our French Onion Green Beans, we think herb-roasted chicken thighs, beef tenderloin medallions, grilled salmon filets, and seared scallops with citrus butter are all excellent choices. 

Need some other sides to complete the meal? Garlic mashed potatoes, a mixed green salad with balsamic vinaigrette, sautéed garlic mushrooms, honey-glazed carrots, and a creamy parmesan polenta will each provide a tasty complement to your plate. 

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven with a high broil for 10-15 minutes. Toss green beans in 1 TBSP of oil, then spread into single layer on baking sheet or pre-greased casserole dish. Place into oven on the middle rack for 8-10 minutes. Cook until blistered.
  2. Remove and toss in the provided sauce. Add crunchy onions then plate, serve, and enjoy!

Alternate Cooking Instructions

  1. Place green beans in a large skillet or sauté pan with about ½-inch of water. Bring to a rapid simmer, cover, and steam approximately 5-7 minutes until crisp and tender.
  2. Add in sauce until evenly coated. Top with crunchy onions and serve.
