Our salads include a “Best If Used By Date” that is unique to when the salad was packaged. All Taylor Farms products should be refrigerated at all times until serving. We do not recommend eating a salad or vegetables after the “Best If Used By Date.” Like all fresh salads and vegetables, our products have a limited shelf life (even when refrigerated), and the “Best If Used By” instructions should be followed.

Although you can use an endless variety of produce for salad bases, we recommend sticking with the classics. Leafy greens like Iceberg, Romaine, Butterhead, Arugula, Spinach, and Kale are excellent foundations for salads. You can also use cruciferous veggies like Red Cabbage, Green Cabbage, Savoy cabbage, Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, and Cauliflower. For more color and texture, consider adding root vegetables like Carrot. Taylor Farms salad blends offer a diverse assortment of veggie bases to build your own delectable salads upon, so feel free to mix and match to your heart’s content!
