$5 Million and Counting: Taylor Farms Awards 32 New Scholarships in 2026

Taylor Scholarship 2026

At Taylor Farms, we believe that investing in our team members is essential to sustaining a great company and community. That’s why we started the Taylor Farms Scholarship program. We’re proud to shine a light on the 32 individuals—including both full-time employees and their children—who received the 2026 scholarship awards. This year, the program awarded $575,000 to help the extended Taylor Farms family achieve their higher education goals, and we can’t wait to see the great things they accomplish!

The Scholarship’s Mission

Just as we’re driven to make quality produce affordable and convenient for everyone, we believe that higher education should be attainable for anyone wishing to pursue it. To support our employees’ families in this endeavour, we’ve donated nearly $5.3 million to date.

We know that everyone’s educational journey is different, which is why we designed the program to focus on three different categories. This year’s 32 scholarship recipients include:

  • Extraordinary Scholarships 20 students pursuing degrees at four-year universities
  • Innovative Scholarships — 9 students pursuing academic and career development at junior colleges and trade schools
  • Employee Scholarships 3 dedicated Taylor Farms team members who are advancing their own education and development goals

How Are Scholarships Awarded?

Scholarships are available to all full-time Taylor Farms employees and their children. Applications are reviewed by the scholarship committee in partnership with the Community Foundation for Monterey County. Sharing in our team’s stories and being able to play a part in so many of them has been inspiring and immensely rewarding for us as a company.

Looking Ahead

With over $5 million awarded since the program began, Taylor Farms is committed to keeping the scholarships going strong for many years to come. As Bruce Taylor, Chairman and CEO of Taylor Farms, said, “Education opens doors and breaks barriers—it creates equal opportunity to thrive and be. At Taylor Farms, we believe investing in our team members and their families is one of the most meaningful things we can do as a company.”

Taylor Scholarship 2026 Looking Ahead

From all of us at Taylor Farms, congratulations to this year’s recipients! We look forward to seeing all that you achieve. And to any employee or family member considering applying next year, we strongly encourage you to do so!
