Taylor Farms and the ‘Feeling Things with Amy and Kat’ Podcast Team Up to Support Kids in Foster Care-2

Taylor Farms recently joined forces with the Feeling Things with Amy and Kat podcast at Topgolf in Nashville to help support and attend the annual “Tee It Up for the Kids” fundraiser benefiting Isaiah 117 House in Davidson County, Tennessee — an organization that supports foster children during one of the most vulnerable moments in their lives.

A few lucky fans of the podcast were selected to play on a team with hosts Amy Brown and Kat Defatta, and each winner also brought a guest to join in on the action. Teams competed virtually across Topgolf bays, creating friendly rivalries, high-fives, and plenty of leaderboard suspense — which included some members of the Taylor Farms team. Door prizes and lots of premium giveaways kept the competitive spirit lively all night, but the true win was the cause behind every swing (and every plate of fajitas served).

Why Taylor Farms Supports the Isaiah 117 House

When children are brought to a child welfare services office to await placement, the wait can be anywhere from a few hours to several days. These children often have nothing with them and are scared, lonely, hungry, and in dirty clothing.

Isaiah 117 provides a comforting home where these children can be brought to wait — a place that is safe with friendly and loving volunteers who provide clean clothes, smiles, toys, and snuggly blankets. This space allows children to receive the comfort and care they need while child welfare staff can do the necessary paperwork, identify a good placement, and ease the transition for foster families.

Taylor Farms proudly underwrote Tee It Up for the Kids, ensuring that every dollar raised went directly to Isaiah 117 House.

Amy Brown, Feeling Things co-host and longtime advocate for foster care, later reflected on the event:

I really appreciate that Taylor Farms isn’t just providing financial support; they’re choosing to be actively involved. It’s one thing to underwrite an event, but it speaks volumes when a company also wants its team to show up and participate. That kind of engagement is both meaningful and impactful.”

Tee It Up for the Kids provided an amazing opportunity to raise both money and awareness for a powerful cause that addresses a critical and often-overlooked need in the foster system. Taylor Farms is proud to stand alongside Isaiah 117 House and all the individuals and families working to make foster care more compassionate and dignified.

We’re grateful to Amy, Kat, and every participant and sponsor who helped make this event a success!
