SHRIMP TACOS
A simple Shrimp Tacos recipe made with our Shredded Iceberg Lettuce that's sure to be a hit on your next taco night.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Shredded Iceberg Lettuce
- 1lb. Shrimp-peeled and deveined
- Cotija Cheese
- 6 Tortillas (corn or flour)
- Cilantro Lime Dressing- substitute for any salsa
Seasonings:
- 2 tsp Chili Powder
- 2 tsp Cumin
- ½ tsp Garlic Powder
- Pinch of Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Pepper
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
Directions
- Peel and devein the shrimp and season with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt and a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- Cook for 5-8 minutes and turn the shrimp to avoid burning.
- Heat up the tortillas on your stove burner or cast-iron skillet to lightly toast for an extra flavor.
- Add the cilantro lime dressing to the lettuce. Assemble the tacos- add Shrimp on the tortillas, lettuce, and cheese.
- You can add avocado slices or lime wedges for more flavor!
