Broccoli Beef Soba Bowl

  • 1.5 lbs skirt steak, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 9 oz bag Taylor Farms Organic Broccoli Florets
  • 12 oz soba noodles
  • green onions
  • sesame seeds
  • cilantro

Spicy Sesame Sauce

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce, or coconut aminos
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp lime zest
  • 1.5 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 2 birds eye chilis, minced or 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tsp grated ginger
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced


  1. In a medium bowl stir cornstarch, honey and soy sauce together until cornstarch is dissolved. Add beef and toss until the meat is coated. Set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. While beef is marinating cook soba noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  3. Prepare a steam basket over boiling water adding broccoli wants steam is produced. Cover and cook for 3 minutes. Set broccoli aside.
  4. In a small bowl whisk together all ingredients for the spicy sesame sauce and set aside.
  5. Heat a large skillet, or wok over high heat. Once the pan is smoking, add the beef in small batches cooking until edges are crispy. Continue with the rest of the beef. Add beef, broccoli and noodles to the pan along with the the sesame sauce. Cook and toss together over medium heat until everything has combined. Serve hot with green onions, cilantro, extra chilies and sesame seeds.
