This past week, our Taylor Farms team traveled to Anaheim, CA where the industry’s newest ideas are shared and explored on a global level. Leaders from the produce and floral industries gather for one expo, the PMA Fresh Summit, where new products are showcased, and cutting edge innovation and automation are displayed.
With an emphasis on the “Flavor of Fresh”, we showcased our wide variety of flavors, from our 18 Chopped Salad Kits and our 8 Stir Fry Kits. We showcased our four newest chopped salad kits: Roasted Garlic, Salsa Ranch, Steakhouse Wedge and Tangerine Crunch in the New Product Showcase and shared samples at our booth. Our team highlighted bringing Earthbound Farm back to their roots as a family owned company in the Salinas Valley since the acquisition six months ago.
During one of the industry sessions, our own Ted Taylor was one of the judges for THRIVE Fresh Summit Challenge with Robert Herjavec, which has a similar structure to ABC’s Shark Tank,. The THRIVE Fresh Summit Challenge was a live-pitch competition where entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to the panel of judges in hopes to win an investment of $100K and the opportunity to present at the Forbes AgTech Summit in Salinas.
We look forward to another successful PMA Fresh Summit in 2020!
